Awesome job on my bag

Lent my elderly down bag to a friend for a backpacking trip and she returned it foul and dirty. She apologized profusely but nonetheless I had to get it clean. I took this Down Wash to a local laundromat, threw my bag in a front loader and it came out spic and span -- couldn't believe it! After reading a few ways to dry a down bag, I put it in my "home" drier on low heat with a clean tennis ball and it came out great. Be sure to read the directions on the bottle of the Nikwax -- you don't have to use much (especially since you are also using a front-loader) so don't overdo it -- I think it would be a pain to get excess cleaner out of your bag. Now I have plenty more for the next dirty trip out!
