Summer Pack

I purchased this pack for ice climbing and it is perfect for that, I would use it to hold all the gear I needed for a day of climbing. I am currently in Italy studying and I have been using this pack for my weekend travels. It holds everything I need for a weekend backpack trip but the one thing that I have now noticed because of the heat is that there is little if no ventilation on the backpanel of this pack. It would get so hot on my back when I was in the sun and 80 degree temps. If you are looking for a pack to travel with and not use for a specific task, you should look at some of arcteryx other backpacking packs.
