Petzl William Locking Carabiner

Item #PTZ0079 | 198 in Stock
4 Star Rating

Big Biner!

By Ranked #379 - Carabiners, Quickdraws, and Belay Devices June 15, 2010

I have found this to be an excellent rappel biner or to use while building an anchor due to its size.

However, for sport routes where I'm belaying on a grigri I often look down to see that it has flipped horizontally and the load is now longer on the spine (especially when top roping).

The size of the gate opening allows you to quickly pass multiple ropes, slings, etc into this monster quickly.

The action on the screwgate is smooth and the red marking is clear.

Excellent biner.
