Scarpa Veloce Climbing Shoe - Vibram XS Edge

umm...

By Ranked #323 - Climbing Shoes June 6, 2010

thick sole: can't feel the holds
poor velcro design: looks like there's too much fabric or something
So not really recommended unless you're climbing easy stuff with big foot holds or use them as warm up shoes which is what I do now.
I'm really used to Sportiva's Miura n Venom so I can feel the holds a lot. Probably just takes to get used to it...

Probably, but in that case the evolv defy is way better than that one. I'm still not used to not feeling the holds with them...

Hey Christophe. The Veloce ia built more as an all around/beginner shoe so it is quite a bit more supportive for longer vertical milage and/or weaker feet. If you like the Miura and the Venom the Vapor series would be a more comparable shoe
