Gear Review
Good but surprising

I have a lot of Columbia gear and these pants seem to have potential but fall short in a number of areas. As mentioned in another review, the pockets don't seem to hold much that a traveler would require. For quick trips around town or short local hikes they work very well. The seams are almost utilitarian and put in the mind of Patagonia Stand-Up Pants, though these are a much lighter fabric. I like them and they are good in warmer weather. Recommend? Sure, can't beat the price! Beware the fit though, I ordered 34 inch Waist and they feel like 32s.
