Good shoes, but not quite right for me.

I purchased these for our upcoming trip to Switzerland. They were very stiff to start with so I spent some time hiking in them. They were very comfortable until I went about 6 miles one day and all of a sudden they started to dig into the top of my foot where my foot meets the toes. They also do not breathe well - my feet sweat in them. I like them enough to keep them and I think I'll use them in the winter, but I moved onto the Merrell Chameleon to use for our Switzerland trip.
