These shorts are so light that they dry almost instantly. This is important, as I paddleboard and river guide the waterways here in Colorado. With the stretch fabric, these shorts are never a problem when climbing in-and-out of raft buses, the TatsVan, or pumping boats. My only gripes: a zipper fly would be better (looks like velcro is standard on all Billabong board shorts); more pockets (only has 1 cargo pocket). The fly is a little scratchy when 'answering the call of nature'.
