Just buy a pair every time

I wasn't sure what to think when my brother told me to go out and replace my entire underwear drawer with exofficio, so I tried a pair. I work in equatorial and tropical regions throughout the world, and this underwear has been an absolute godsend. They're comfortable all day in incredible heat and humidity, and takes up virtually no space in my bags... what more could you ask for. I've gotten to where I'll add a pair or two to every order I place with backcountry.com, and have gotten up to something like 15 pair.

A tip: just like everyone says, buy a size smaller than you're used to. For some reason, exofficio stuff is pretty big. I'm like a ~36" waist, and I wear medium boxer briefs.
