Great watch -

I'd purchase another one but mine keeps working. I've had for at least 7-8 years, possibly longer? I've just changed the battery for the 4th time. I would say I've put it through rough abuse, not military by any stretch (although it could handle it) but I use it climbing, mountaineering, running and any working around the house etc... basically worn to where the printed logo has worn off along bottom of bezel. I've had to replace the strap once.
The temp reading is not the most accurate, sort of a useless feature in my opinion considering its on your body. But alt and compass have served well, yes re-calibrating needed at times but expected. There's some other similar watch brands out there that are probably comparable. But Suunto website and online support is great for getting the most out of your watch/computer. Worth the $200.
