I'm amazed how light this jacket is and how well it packs down to almost nothing, so much I'll just put it in my laptop messenger bags when I travel for just-in-case situations. It is certainly not as burly as 3-layer Goretex Pro Shell but the use-cases are just different, and personally I find most of the latest gen Goretex PS jackets way to stiff and noisy. The M10 is great for my intended uses: hiking, biking, some running, skiing (during certain conditions). It is a study in minimalism.
Only gripe: a little flap to stove down the hood would have been nice. I'm sure some people would want more pockets, I'm OK with it.
Watch out though - that "mango" color is STRONG, more like signal orange IMO.
