175cm Ski Length/Love my Joules

I own the 175cm Joules and had a great year on them in Washington. I ski everything, but love the big turns on steep backcountry. I like them everywhere: amazing in the powder, but responded better than expected in the crud, fine in the trees. If you are an expert skier who likes to go fast, I'm not sure why you would want shorter skis, unless mostly touring. We get lots of ice here and you get some chatter trying to do long turns on ice. If you shorten up and do more frequent turns, the chatter goes away. I have mine setup with Fritschi Freerides, but will likely switch over to Dynafits. I am 5'4" and 135lbs for comparison on the length.
