Gear Review
Exceeds most expectations so far

Preliminary review: Haven't used it in too many outings yet, but so far the Windstopper does its job by perfectly blocking all wind and allowing rain to bead right off (even the M2 side panels bead water at first but will eventually seep though). The whole jacket is light (less than one pound) and along with the M2 side panels, breathes really well for any sweaty activity you need to cool down from. Because it's so lightweight, I wouldn't recommend the jacket under temps in the 50s unless you got some good thermal layers underneath. The ends of the arms are performance cut so they taper down to fit nicely around your wrists but don't allow a bulky under-layer really. I plan to use it for layering while backpacking so waiting to see how it holds up for that.
*There's an extra zippered chest pocket on the inside, right breast that's not mentioned in the specs! I love extra pockets.
