Just wanted to give feedback for fellow guys with narrow feet that though Salomon says their shoes are gender specific, the womens feel just like a narrower version of the mens. This shoe works particularly good for narrow feet and orthotics, as its got a very deep heel pocket. I searched a long time for something that fit this well, and these shoes are really the best I've found (No comment on color, except that it's not that bad...)

That's what I've been told. Although Salomon does claim to make gender-specific modifications, a foot expert told me they're more related to overall volume and shape of foot than gender specifically.

Are men's shoes wider than women's? I have a wide foot and am wondering if I should buy men's shoes?
