Good backcountry ski
By rockies skier
Ranked #424 - All Mountain Skis
May 10, 2010
Got these for backcountry-only setup with BD 01 bindings. A light setup and great dimensions for a touring ski in Colorado. I am 5'3", 115lb, expert skier, and normally ski stiffer skis. They are super-fun and bouncy-bouncy in the pow, and they handle windbuff and chowder well. A great, soft flex for the off-piste, and turny. I wouldn't ski the crud or icy/groom on these. Not sure if they would be my choice for gnarly couloirs (would ski the rapid-transits), but a great, light, porpoise-y ski for the BC.
