DAKINE High Roller Snowboard Bag

Nice Bag, good price

By Ranked #138 - Snowboard Bags May 9, 2010

I purchased this bag to accommodate my new Prior Spearhead 178. It's more than adequate in length. It does weigh over ten pounds though, so you start with a weight penalty for the airlines - something to consider. I usually pack everything in my board bag so as long as I pack smart, I think I can stay under 50 lbs with boots bindings and two boards. Anyway, the bag is nice, the zippers are not heavy duty, but typical for bag of this price. I am also not sure how the mylar like lining will hold up. The wheels are chunky and should be a lot more durable than the ones on my old Sims bag that were not right after their first flight. There are plenty of pockets, straps and features to satisfy a gearhead. The real test will be how it holds up and protects the gear, the real purpose of the bag. More to come next season....
