I used the Odin Softshell Pants for ice and mixed climbing this winter in Ouray, CO. They breath well when you are working hard and keep out the elements at the same time. I also like the built in gaiter for the approaches to ice routes. The pants also provide excellent range of motion for the more gymnastic moves involved in steep mixed climbing. Perfect.
