Less bulk, faster run

Having water with you while trail running can be a hassle. Lumbar packs are somewhat irritating and bulky, as is having a camelbak. While the camelbak holds more water it just makes it that much more bulky. So I thought Id try out The North Face E 50/50 bottle even though I didnt like the idea of holding a bottle the whole time I ran, it wasnt as bad as I though. I took a 4 mile run though a canyon and never really noticed that I had it. The straps work well and do most of the holding for you, the only down side is that some of the trails I run are steep enough at times to require your hands so in that case it probably would not work to well and a camlebak may be more suitable. One suggestion fill the bottle with ice before you run so when you need it, the water wont be body temperature.
