Ranked #1429 - 3-Season Tents

Okay I admit I am not Joe hiker. I backapck maybe five times a year in the summer and once or twice in the winter but I have had this tent two years and I really like it. It is not heavy compared to other 4-man tents in it's price range, and it has a couple of cool features that add to usage pleasure. I like having windows in the fly, but I really like the fact that the poles snap into the tent at the bottom so when setting up one end doesn't pop out while your trying to set up the other end. It's also nice that the footprint attaches to the tent. Both vestibules are useable, not impressive, but useable. I also like the fact that it's free standing (although you need to get creative with the fly sometimes) and the vents in the fly are a good thing too. I would recommend this tent for those whose budget won't let you go to the ultra-lite division. It is well built and functional.
