The first half of the book is spent on history, safety and survival, weather, glaciers, health, avalanches, and planning a climb.

It spends the second half on everything involving Mt. Rainer approaches.

It has tons of real aerial pics with routes high-lighted. It also explains what to expect throughout the season in regards to snow pack and dealing with glaciers in late summer, etc.

Very detailed throughout!
