Solid Little Camera

After using this camera for a variety of days this ski season I am happy to say its well worth the money. To give you a good idea of the footage I have pasted 2 links below to vids I put together from its footage. The unit is extremely small and very easy to use. The only issues I found with the camera was the sound with all the wind (but who cares about that when your putting your vids to music), battery life (bring a second), and at high speed the google mount has wobble despite how tight you make your strap. This issue can be taken care of quickly by using the fixed mount. Also with the fixed mount if you helmet has a rim like many do today you will want to place it on the top of the helmet rather then the side because as you will see in my vids, the rim will show up. Light is also something you want to strongly consider with all helmet cams. As you will see in my Powder Mountain vid, in low light conditions you want to shoot around trees and other points that will give you contrast (it doesnt matter what helmet cam you choose this will be an issue). Another great feature to point out is the files are easy to edit wether its on and apple or microsoft movie maker (what I used to make my vids). Though the software Vholr provides is good, I found it slow and cluncky compared to Microsoft Movie Maker. All I can say is this, if you are considering a helmet cam the ContourHD should be #1 on the list, size, user friendly, and vid quality you cant go wrong!

P.S. I would have given it 5 stars but the battery life needs to be longer
