Nice and light

Great pair of pants. Pretty much think of them like softshell pants - breath better, are more comfortable and light weight and block wind like a champ. But they aren't as rugged or durable, and sustained heavy moisture will get through. A really great option if you're out in the snow or wind and it's not a monsoon or blizzard. They fit true to size as a first layer or over long underwear, but if you just want to throw them on over pants consider sizing up.
