Ranked #279 - Men's Hiking and Climbing Pants

Fabric is great, lightweight, stretchy, strong, wind-resistant, and even comfortable! These are the best all-around hiking/walking pants I've every purchased. I am tall and thin, with long legs, and I am usually disappointed with these kinds of pants because the crotch is almost always too low, which means I can't lift my legs (for instance, when walking uphill), without catching the pants. It's incredibly irritating, and makes hiking much less fun. These pants do not have this problem, thanks to the stretchy fabric and the crotch being at the right height. I am 6"1' and 160 and the 30x32 are perfect in the waist but a little short on the inseam (but length is fine for wearing with hiking boots, just probably not with sandals), and 32x34 are great lengthwise, but a little bit big in the waist. The only reason these pants don't get 5 stars is the price, and because they don't make the size I really want.. 30x34!

Hey, I'm curious. I have been hearing so many mixed reviews. Some people are saying to go one size up, and others are saying they run small. I normally wear a 30x32, but I am convinced that Arc' is more precise when it comes to the actual measurements. I'm 5'8-9" 130lbs. Would you suggest the 30 or 32 inch waist? Thanks, Aaron.
