If you bought it for an emergency light, that's great, it's there when you need it. I love it for backpacking, very lightweight and the batteries seem to last forever. Tired of losing your light in the tent at night, try just pulling it down around your neck at night...that way it's right there when you need it, like a necklace. Try it and you'll love it.
I now own two...so I always have one where I want it. Get one and you'll see what I mean
