newer skis with dampening systems

this rack does open very wide in the bottom and it does not allow you to put 2 skis together and slide into lower section of ski rack, we have newer skis with a dampening system top mounted, so skis had to be slid into rack seperately going from a 6 ski pair holder to 4 pair... just an fyi...
