Fat Fun Skis in Powder!
By Sara Hutchinson
March 18, 2010
I borrowed these skis from the Backcountry employee gear closet and had a BLAST on them. They were 168cm with G3 Targa Ascent bindings. I have been skiing on K2 Dawn Patrols and really enjoyed the extra width. They felt like water skis. SO fun. And I skied in about 12 inches of fresh snow and ripped every open bowl I could. Total blast. The following day when the powder wasn't as light & fluffy, they were harder to manage on the groomers in a tele turn. But if I kept them both on the snow, I was sturdy.
