Ranked #841 - Weekend Packs (3000-4500 cu in)
March 9, 2010
Tried this new pack on today which is supposedly replacing the Bora according to my salesperson, despite the latter being a larger/weatherproof bag. 6FT - the Tall fit perfect. Top loading but inverse U zip allows full access to pack. Basically, the front flips up much in the same manner as a top lid does. Felt comfortable with 35 lbs packed in. Lid might be detachable, but I did not see any type of waist belt. Can anyone confirm this?

The lid does not have the waist belt to become a lumbar pack as the Bora does, but I never have used that feature but once on a hike in > camp for a few days> hike out. Didn't need to use it, but it was there. The lid/Lambar pack is more of a novelty IMHO.
