I love these shorts, I have two different pairs of these(black and tan). These fit more like baggy board shorts than hiking pants. There are no belt loops so order your exact waist size. These shorts are rugged but super light, I wear them anywhere and everywhere. It would be nice if the pockets had zippers instead of being so free-flowing then you could actually put things in them with out worrying about them falling out. They say you can use them for chalk, but the second you got on an overhand it would snow from your pockets. But anyway, like all Mammut stuff it's a great product.
