I can't believe how much I use this piece. Summer alpine climbing, both rock and snow, winter ski touring. It is light, a little breathable, and it blocks the light weather a bit. Layers really easily and is TOUGH as nails. It literally goes everywhere with me all year. Use it on the uptrack ski touring, spring descents, when you want a little more protection than a fleece, and not a full on hard/heavy soft shell.
