These are by far the best boots I have ever owned. They did take a few days to break in but now my feet are loving them. I work outside in NE Wyoming and the terrain varies from steep, rocky hills to sagebrush and cactus covered ridges. For three weeks now I have been tromping around in them and they barely show any scratches. The construction is very solid and the vibram sole gives great traction on the ice and snow. I'm looking forward to testing them out in the mountains this summer. The padding inside is awesome as it hugs your foot. At first I was lacing them too tight and they were hurting my feet, after I loosened them up a bit, they still provide great support while also allowing my foot it's natural motion. Great design, great materials, and great workmanship.
