Simply great

Ranked #1145 - Men's Ski Pants

This is my second season with The North Face Freedom pant. They have held up great for skiing and just stomping around in the snow. The fit is great and they offer enough space for me to move around without any restrictions. I normally wear a 33" waist and have a 33" inseam (32" is too short, 34" is too long, I have to have everything tailored). These are the perfect length for ski boots and for my snow boots. I have worn mine with a Patagonia Capilene 2 base layer down to about 15 degrees and am plenty warm sitting on the ground, sled or on a chair lift. The cargo pocket is great for any extra stuff that won't fit in my jacket. One nice feature is the lift ticket clip in the pocket. There is one on my TNF Odyssey softshell jacket, but when in use it leaves a little opening that snow can get into the pocket through. I just use the clip on the pants, and that way I don't have to worry about my hand warmer pocket getting wet.
