Cloudveil Down Patrol Mitten
By John
Ranked #426 - Mittens
February 17, 2010
These mittens are great for warm weather; i.e., above 10 to 15 degress F. Colder than that I could not keep my fingers warm even while cross country skiiing. It was a dissapointment. I do like them for the warmer temperatures. These mittens would be way more effective (warmer) if they had the open mitten design instead of hte individual finger slot.
I hike and ski year around in Alaska and cannot afford the risk of getting cold. Cabela's had a mitten a few years ago that was very simple but effective, they discontinued that line and I haven't been happy since.
I'm not complaining about your product, it just doesn't work for me when it is cold.
