Metal pulleys to allow the cable straps to easily tighten with no friction or wear??... are you kidding me? As soon as I looked at these boots I knew some serious thinking went into the engineering and design. Other than possibly one adjustment to allow for material and your feet heating up this boot needs no tightening whatsoever during the day. In spite of the engineering they are simple to use and are perfectly secure and comfortable. Awesome boots and the price is amazing for what you get. Just rode 7 hard days at the Bird and Canyons and nothing but good things to say about the performance.
