Arc'teryx Sidewinder AR Jacket - Men's

Item #ARC0860 | 0 in Stock
4 Star Rating

durable shell

By Ranked #1433 - Men's Ski Jackets February 17, 2010

I've taken this shell a couple of times to the slopes and took some hard falls on the slopes and it looks like it's brand new. I had a insulating jacket underneath, and did not get wet at all when I slid in on the powder. I do have a few gripes though: The ID pocket on the upper left arm, for me it's a PITA to open/close with one hand. The zipper is a bit of a pain to zip up the collar with one handI have not tried out the hood, so cannot comment on that.

All in all, this is definitely a really durable shell, it's definitely a lot roomier than my Arc'teryx softshell, and so lends itself great for layering. If you keep this in mind, you won't be surprised at the extra room it has.
