Ranked #652 - Men's Mountaineering Boots
February 16, 2010
This boot is a solid boot that could be very useful for general mountaineering in the lower 48, that is, if the lacing system works for you. The lacing system tightens uniformly up the boot which should work well in ice climbing but not for summits. They were warmer than full grain leather hiking boots but not too overbearing. -- I returned these boots because I wanted actual laces and a little more warmth.
