Ligt weight, comfortable, water repellent

I have worn these boots for one year. I find them conformtable on long walks; a grippy sole, even on ice. Rain or snow, they stay dry.
Two complaints:
1. Lots of rub and irritation around the ankle bone. I lined them with moleskin, but that does not solve it either.
2. The stitching on the top tends to unravel.

A good buy at the reduced or sale price, but I would not pay top dollar. The Brooklyn boot performs better and the San Antonio Slip On is great as well.
