Ranked #989 - Weekend Packs (3000-4500 cu in)
February 14, 2010
This pack is amazingly light-feeling even with 20 pounds in it (I haven't used it to capacity yet) and as comfortable as a pack can be, and it has lots of little options for putting things, even though it's basically a one-holer inside. There are little bungies inside the back of the bag that you can tuck things into so they don't move around, and you can tighten straps to make the pack really tight or loosen them to fit a surprisingly large amount of stuff into. I am 5'3" so I got the short but I exchanged it for the regular bec it just seemed TOO short. The reg is just fine and you can adjust the suspension enough so the hip belt can go higher or lower. I wish someone would invent a little usable pocket sort of thing in the front of the hip belt so you can access items in there like a hanky, chapstick, cell phone or map or whatever. Anyway, it's a great pack, pretty too (if you care about that sort of thing), and I'm very happy with it.
