Awesome!!

If you are wanting the beefiest boot available while staying in the leather category this baby is it! This boot is freaking amazing. This year's model has a stiffer sole to prevent lateral flex, while staying very mobile for forward flex. This thing lets me make sweet telemark turns on the downhill and still bend and flex to get some kick and glide going on the flats. I originally tried this boot with the Karhu XCD Guide, but found that for turning power, you probably are going to want to go to a very light plastic such as the Garmont Excursion. However, I use this boot now with a Karhu 10th Mountain and a Voile 3-pin Cable binding setup. This setup is a serious all around back country setup. Look for something between the Fischer Outtabounds and the Karhu 10th Mountain for a ski that you can really drive and power with this boot. Seriously, this boot is so warm that I literally only wear a very thin Injinji Outdoor sock in sub zero weather. Get this boot!!
