Ranked #358 - Climbing Skins

So far I have been happy with these new skins. I bought them for my Dynafit Manaslu 178cm skis. They fit incredibly well and the tip and tail attachments work well.
I found the grip good and had only minimal slippage (2-3x while on steep sections) skinning 2700' on a packed powder surface.
The glide seemed fine, but the terrain I have used them on so far was almost exclusively climbing and did not have a lot of gliding. They are lighter than my previous skins (BD ascension) and the adhesive worked very well.
One comment- be sure to peel the attached backing in a warm area. I forgot to do this until I got to the trail and the backing ripped and was hard to remove at 20 degrees!

Echo the comment on removing the backing in a warm area! Wish I'd read your comment prior to heading out. I spent 15 mins and needed the help of a friend to peel off the shredded backing in cold temperatures!
