Ranked #920 - Men's Softshell Jackets

Event and Schoeller plus a super light merino wool lining. This is one smart, beautifully made garment. The cuffs are narrow at fit nicely under glove gauntlets. The cut is slightly narrower, so I now use this garment as outerwear on moderately cold days, then I layer the Skeena under my Westcomb Specter (the insulated version) when it gets really chilly. This is my new favorite setup for alpine climbing. And one more note I think is worth mentioning:Arcteryx, Mountain Hardware, North Face, Marmot, even Patagonia- check the tag. They all say, "Made in China". Westcomb gear is made in Vancouver, Canada. Westcomb's design patterns are still cut by hand. The stitching is nearly twice that of any major brand. The small factory has 100% quality control- every item is QC'd. They utilize breathable eVent fabric instead of Gor-Tex. Their garments are worth every penny.
