Excellent boot-warm and comfortable!

I bought these boots for deep snow conditions in Vermont. I have ongoing orthapedic problems and boots are very difficult for me to find that are comfortable and not painful for me to walk. Especially when my right ankle swells after being on my feet for more than a half hour. These boots were surprisingly comfortable and extremely warm. They seem to fit true to size for me. The lacing system is very nice and they are a quick on, quick off boot. I was worried about the boot cutting into my leg as they broke in since they are such a tall boot but that wasn't the case at all. I just left the upper portion slightly looser the first few times I wore them which also allows your ankle to bend a little easier as they break in. I love the boots and have no complaints and definately would recommend them to anyone considering them for extreme cold or conditions or deeper snow. Excellent boot, wouldn't expect anything less from North Face!
