Let me start by saying...
I LOVE these pants. They are comfortable, they make my ass look great, I don't really need to wash them, and they're exactly what I was looking for. A tough, rugged, stylish pant that I could walk out of school and into the backcountry in. However, there are several key problems with these pants that need to be addressed, and that force me to give these pants a three star rating. I have had the pants for about a month now, but already there is a tear right under one of the belt loops. I could not have torn them myself in this allotted time, the simple wear of putting a belt into the loops has frayed and created a hole. While not a big hole, and not at all a problem, I am afraid that it will grow. Also, as several other reviews have pointed out, the waist runs pretty small. I would get about 2 sizes (30 x 30 to a 32 x 30) larger.
Overall, these pants are disappointing, but they have a lot of potential. I have heard that MK has problems with its quality control, so these problems may be isolated to my pair of pants. I would buy these pants (like I said, I love these pants even with the problems and they have amazing potential), but be prepared to send them back.
