La Sportiva wildcat trail shoes

I bought a pair of Wildcats during training for an upcoming race (100K trail). I really had no foot problems in the race and the course is fairly technical, including stream crossings and lots of rocks. The shoes are lightweight yet feel supportive and have great grip on slippery terrain. My only complaint is that in making them super breathable there is not much foot protection from rocks on top or at the sides. I would definitely recommend them though and have already bought a second pair.
