i bought this for my 9 year old (with a "normal" size head!) and it was way too small. So, I passed it down to my 7 year old (also a "normal" size head!) and still too small. So, my 4 year old wears it, but won't wear it for long! Should have returned it, but didn't want to bother for the price.
