I've rocked this jacket in the 30s with a t-shirt around a campfire, tackling Baldy Chutes at Alta and on a 5 hour roadtrip in the Subaru. The Welder tackled all of it with aplomb.
I'm 5'11, 155, 38" chest and the medium is a great fit. This is a form fitting jacket, but you'll have no issues moving around.
Initially worried about the red, but it looks quite good. Not garish, and the piping is rad...I've gotten Tron references for some reason.
As mentioned previously, the zipper does catch a bit on the wind flap but is easily rectified by paying attention.
Haven't been able to truly test the durability, though I'm less and less worried about the welded seems, the softshell fabric and the lining. I don't think I'm going to be beating the crap out of this thing though.
It holds up to decent snowfall and light rain, but in a downpour, I'll stick with my GoreTex XCR.
So if you're athletic/trim guy looking for a wonderful all-around jacket and especially if you can steal it off SaC, get this jacket.
