this ski should be used when powder is in the mix. performs best on cut up crud, fresh powder, tracked powder. this ski needs to run a little faster than regular powder skis, which is great for an old gs skier like myself. because of the speed it lacks responsiveness in tight trees but if the powder is deep enough you can turn these puppies on a dime. good floater ski, need to ski edge to edge on groomed runs a little more than i'd like but its give and take, and i'll take the off piste abilities and give up a little stability at high speed groomed runs.
