Love everything but the fit

I really wanted to love this jacket, but at 5'7", 140 lb the medium fit was weird. I didn't try the large as the arm length was great, and the shoulder room was perfect, but the mid section to the waist simply tapered too much for my liking. Another reviewer described it as a "European fit"; I guess that means it is too slimming for a ski jacket. Hopefully they come out with a more layer friendly option for their next ski apparel line; less slimming and just a tad longer. Other than the fit, the features are flawless.

I usaually wear S of Marmot Precip or Patagonia. Howabout this one?
