Better than ever

Bought my first zipka years ago when they first came out and it's one of my favorite items whether backpacking or travelling, late night home improvement or early morning preflighting. Small enough to go anywhere and keep around as a backup or supplemental light and has worked out marvelously from poking around ancient fortresses in India to prehistoric caves in France, and it even works as a bicycle light in a pinch. I learned how much brighter the Petzyl's have gotten as LED technology has improved as I've bought these as gifts for friends and I finally couldn't resist upgrading my own. MUCH more light from the same tiny housing. I have LONG hair with lots of flyaways -- just take a little care and you won't ever get your whispies caught in the elastic. (Nowhere near as dangerous as velcro vs. my long braid!) Love the new flash setting -- could be very useful in a pinch.
