These poles are lightweight, very strong, and collapse down to a very compact size to fit on the side of your pack. Sometimes the push-button mechanism to collapse the pole gets a bit hard to work with in cold snowy weather, but after a few seconds it works.
The separate pole pieces also can be completely separated for use with a Black Diamond snow saw, etc. Recommend this pole for any season.
