I bought this shovel for a Mountain Travel Rescue class where we have to build and sleep in snow caves. The class hasnt happened yet but I look forward to using the shovel. It is super light and very compact. It fits awesomely into my Dakine Heli Pro backpack. I have room for a night or two worth of clothes still and some food which is perfect for this class.
