Great Filter

I love this filter, very dependable, and gives you clear great tasting water every time. On a long trip you have to backflush several times as it gets difficult to pump. Also, newer designed filters like the Katadyn Vairo are much easier to pump. This one gets physically difficult as the pump lever is short and only moves up and down. I upgrade to a new filter after using this one again in the Boundary Waters. Newer designs pack smaller.
